Iowa State University intern, Kate Adams finished up her first week as a sophomore today! After spending her summer interning with us, she headed back to school to continue working towards her degree in construction engineering. We very much enjoyed having her, and her infectious laugh, this summer! She was willing to take on any new project we threw at her, she was always willing to learn and ask questions, and she was incredibly hard working.
We do our best to give our interns an opportunity to really gain experience in the construction industry by giving them the chance to be a part of the process - both in the office and in the field. Neumann interns are given real projects to work on. Our interns don't sit by and watch the process - they are actively engaged in it. We want our interns and co-op students to be able to return to school with practical experience that they can then use in the classroom.
Kate shared her intern experience with us before she left in hopes that others would be excited for future internship opportunities. Thanks for a great summer, Kate - good luck in school!
