Des Moines, IA (April 2012) - For the second year in a row, Neumann Brothers, Inc. earned the honor of achieving partner supplier status through the Achieving Excellence Program with John Deere, one of the world's largest makers of farm equipment. John Deere is also a leading producer of construction, forestry, and commercial and residential lawn care equipment.
“It’s truly an honor to be recognized as a ‘Partner’ with John Deere for the second year in a row,” President and CEO Marshall Linn said.
John Deere created the Achieving Excellence program to successfully compete in a global market by ensuring their suppliers share their world-class vision and commitment to continuous improvement in all areas. Being recognized as a John Deere “Partner” is classified as a supplier who exceeds performance standards, has reached world-class levels and has a measurable effect on the satisfaction level of customers. These suppliers are given the opportunity to work on new designs and bid for additional business. They are also eligible to attend John Deere training programs and attend John Deere Supply Management conferences and recognition events.
“We continue to have a great working relationship with John Deere,” Project Manager Chad Bunner said. “Achieving the ‘Partner’ status for the second year is no doubt a tremendous accomplishment.”
