DES MOINES, Iowa – Neumann Brothers, Inc. will break ground on Waukee School District’s new Center for Advanced Professional Studies (CAPS) building this spring. Neumann will partner with Invision Architecture to complete this project by August 2016.
The 2-story, 67,000 square foot building will have a modern, industrial feel with several classrooms, laboratories, and collaborative spaces. These spaces include a radio and television studio, woodwork and metal spaces, advanced manufacturing area, finance and insurance classrooms, and room for future expansion.
“It’s exciting to be a part of such an innovative concept for the Waukee School District,” said Estimator, Nick Gehl. “We are ready to get this project underway and out of the ground.”
The state-of-the-art building features many challenges but the main challenge will be enclosing the structure by December 1st.
