Project Description

This $33 million design-build project includes three separate buildings on the campus of the Iowa Army National Guard at Camp Dodge, near Johnston, Iowa. The 173,000 square foot Readiness Center houses space for the units' office and storage needs. It also includes a grand drill hall suitable for large assemblies such as troop and family ceremonies. A 27,605 square foot Military Entrance Processing Station building contains offices, open spaces, conference rooms, and medical station areas. The building houses physical and psychological fitness and features exam facilities for entrants into the program. The third building is a 13,168 square foot United States Army Recruiting Entrance Command building and has general office and conference space for the Des Moines Battalion.

The project has been LEED Silver Certified, recognizing Neumann Brothers' commitment to environmentally sustainable construction practices.
