Meredith Corporation Parking Garage Stairs

Using design-build delivery, Neumann Brothers constructed this new staircase connecting five levels of the parking garage for Meredith Corporation.

The original stairs, installed in 1980, were high maintenance and showed severe deterioration and possible structural weakening. The new design incorporated all galvanized steel with open detailing that minimizes trapped water conditions. Glass guardrails provide a light, modern aesthetic  free from potential rusting.

The stair was fabricated off-site as much as possible to minimize the installation period and downtime for the employees of and visitors to the corporation.
