Project Description

Neumann Brothers constructed an 88,000 square foot state-of-the-art facility for the Des Moines Parks and Recreation Department, Engineering Traffic and Transportation, and Survey and Testing Lab Divisions. The building includes administration offices, shops, storage, and interior vehicle parking. The facility will serve as the headquarters for the Park and Recreation Department and also will house operations from the Traffic and Transportation Division and Engineering Department. The city will seek a Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) certification for the building.
