Neumann Brothers constructed a new pre-engineered metal building, machine and control building on a seven-acre site for air separation plant. This project also included the installation of foundations and settings for all equipment, ladders, and platforms on cold box. The construction took place throughout one of the toughest Iowa winters on record. The foundation progress was maintained through the use of a ground-thaw unit allowing small areas of ground to be free of frost for footing excavation and installations. The special features include: fully automated air separation plant including transport loading system and scales. The height is 34' building clear with a 15-ton clear span bridge crane that runs the full length of the building.
"The communication between us as owners and Neumann Brothers was nothing short of excellent! Your team was extremely pro-active. And it was clear to us that your overlay software technology was the key to reducing delays and improving accuracy, providing the best end result possible. Your team is to be commended on a job well done."
