Project Description

The original Trolley Place was a series of buildings that were named after the trolley lines, both horse-drawn and electric that served the Oskaloosa community beginning in the late 1800s. In 2005, the Oskaloosa Downtown Development Group purchased the buildings for restoration. The recently completed first phase added six apartments and restored 7,200 square feet of commercial space. The second phase (no start date identified yet) will include additional living and gathering space.
