Neumann Brothers awarded $25,000 to organizations serving Iowans through employee-led charitable giving initiative, the Neumann Heart Fund.
This year’s Neumann Heart Fund recipients are Blue Star Mothers (Johnston), Boys and Girls Club of Central Iowa (Des Moines), Children and Family Urban Movement (Des Moines), Dorothy’s House (Des Moines), Ellipsis (Johnston), Iowa Service Dogs (West Des Moines), Des Moines Police Activities League – PAL (Des Moines), The Beacon (Des Moines), Urbandale Food Pantry (Urbandale), and Des Moines Area Religious Council – DMARC (Des Moines). Each organization received a $2,500 grant.
Neumann Brothers is steadfast in its dedication to improving the lives of Iowans through the continuation of the Neumann Heart Fund.
“Our non-profit partners are a model for people-first organizations, a value Neumann shares,” said Mike Simpson, President & CEO of Neumann Brothers. “Through the Heart Fund, our employees who are often already personally supporting several causes important to them, are able to help our organization make an even greater impact within the community.”
2023 marks the fourth year of the fund. Over 60 applications were submitted this spring. Selected recipients feature new and returning grantees who demonstrated excellence through their application. The next grant cycle will be announced in the spring of 2024.
