Project Accountant: Elizabeth Ikeler
Please help us welcome Neumann’s newest team member, Elizabeth Ikeler! Elizabeth joined Neumann this past spring as a Project Accountant. She had prior experiencing working with Neumann during a construction project, so when there was an opportunity to join the team, she knew it would be a great fit!
Growing up, Elizabeth was skilled at mathematics and enjoyed accounting. Throughout high school and college, she thought the only career route was traditional public accounting. “But when I discovered there were other options–like project-related accounting–that’s when I knew,” she recalls. “I love the mix.”
When asked why she likes working at Neumann, Elizabeth shares that it’s all about the people. “I really like the individuals I work with. There is a great variety of experiences, history, and a wealth of knowledge that’s shared between everyone.” And with her strong work ethic and time management skills, she keeps projects moving forward, meets deadlines, and is a valuable team member in the project process.
In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her friends and family via relaxing in the afternoon on her patio, riding along in the golf cart while her husband golfs, and going to fun events. “I love going to Hawkeye games, lake days at Okoboji, going to concerts, and especially the Iowa State Fair,” Elizabeth says. “It’s my favorite!”
Neumann is excited to have Elizabeth join our team. We are looking forward to watching her continue to grow and find success!
