The Capital Square building is an infamous headquarters location for some of Des Moines’ most influential businesses, including BH Management, a leader of Iowa’s real estate industry.
The Neumann and BH Management teams worked closely to strategize office operations and construction activities to be carried out throughout the 22,400 square foot space. Wanting the office to remain open and operational as much as possible throughout the process, we were able to construct a pathway to allow the north and south ends of the space to remain fully occupied and connected.
This fast-paced, 7-month tenant improvement project encompassed interior demolition and renovation was completed on time and under budget. By working expediently and efficiently, Neumann was able to save the Owners over $120,000.

All interior architectural woodwork was completed by Neumann craftsman, including trim, casework, and a custom banquette upholstered bench. Other features executed through Neumann are:

- Interior glazing
- Steel supports
- Veneer wall panels
- Furniture installation
This new, spacious break room overlooks the Capital Square Atrium and provides employees a comfortable, calming place to take a break, invite a guest for coffee, or host an event.
