We could not be more grateful to all of those who have helped make the Sports Performance Center a reality. As we continue to build a football program all of Cyclone Nation can be proud of, this facility will be integral to our progress.
Work Scope
We self-performed demolition of the existing football locker rooms, offices, sports medicine, and training areas along with the equipment storage rooms in the existing Bergstrom building. While in an occupied space, we worked with the Owner to develop and maintain safe walkways while we built the connecting corridor. At the same time, we removed flooring, ceilings, and walls thus creating a new path from the Bergstrom building to the new SPC building. During this phase, we built a new taping and treatment area with offices, coaches’ restrooms, and locker rooms. We remodeled the existing hydrotherapy room and built new equipment storage.
Phase three brought a new grand entrance to the Jack Trice Football Stadium, demolition of the existing 40,000 SF Olsen Building, installation of a 2nd level pedestrian and drive path with a bridge to the 2nd level of the stadium on the north elevation. Installation of new utilities and cut overs between all existing buildings on the block and the new SPC building. Demolition and remodel of the existing mechanical floor and turf management shop. This area was transformed into the new visiting football team locker rooms, restrooms and showers, official’s locker rooms and showers and an updated mechanical system in the building. The building addition is below the new bridge and includes a new entrance to the existing building, ticket booths and storage areas.
