National Sprint Car Hall of Fame & Museum – East Tower Addition

The National Sprint Car Hall of Fame & Museum – East Tower Suites Addition is a five-story, steel-framed expansion designed to enhance spectator amenities located at Turn #2 of Knoxville Raceway. Totaling approximately 16,336 SF, the addition connects to the existing museum via elevated bridges at the second through fourth floors and introduces 12 premium suites with private restrooms, lobbies, and exterior viewing balconies on levels three through five.

Work Scope

The addition features concrete-on-metal deck floors, metal stud framing, and stucco-faced insulated metal panels that complement the existing façade. Each suite incorporates tenant-selected finishes, including cabinetry, sinks, countertops, carpet and LVT flooring, tile, and appliances. Mechanical systems are served by rooftop units dedicated to each level and suite, with electrical and plumbing routed through new vertical shafts. Designed as a cohesive and visually consistent expansion, the project enhances the race-day experience
while preserving the architectural character and legacy of the National Sprint Car Hall of Fame & Museum offering sprint car fans a comfortable, welcoming, and thoughtfully detailed environment worthy of their passion.
