Intern Spotlight: Katelyn Adams

Last summer we loved working with intern Katelyn Adams and we are happy to report that it seems the feelings were mutual! Despite multiple offers Katelyn decided to rejoin our team as a co-op through the end of 2020.
“The people are amazing,” Katelyn says, “but one of the things I love most is the variety of work I get to do!” Katelyn spends her days at Iowa State’s jobsite where she is part of our team working on the Sports Performance Center (SPC). She assists the project management team with submittals, RFI’s, daily reports and updates as they come in.
Katelyn works daily with Kingsley Jewett, Project Engineer at SPC. Kingsley notes, “As an intern for the summer of 2019 Katelyn assisted with quantity take off for the ISU Sports Performance Center. It has been fun to see Katelyn grow and become an asset to our ISU team during her co-op in 2020.”
Katelyn is from Baxter, Iowa and is currently working towards completing her degree in Construction Engineering at Iowa State University with plans to graduate in the fall of 2022. After graduation she hopes to stay in the Midwest and continue working on projects for colleges and universities.
