Intern Spotlight: Tyler Bruinekool

Tyler Bruinekool, marketing and communications intern, joined our team this past summer. During the 2020 summer months, Tyler implemented the knowledge he acquired at Drake University to help develop strategic marketing and business development plans. He also conducted market research, created marketing presentations and assisted in managing social media channels.

During his time at Neumann, Tyler worked closely with several team members including our business and development manager, Josh Braby. Josh says, “Tyler learns quickly and has been an asset to our team in setting the ground work for our new business development and marketing strategies.”

Tyler grew up in West Des Moines, Iowa and is currently attending Drake University, pursuing a degree in Marketing and Finance. After his graduation in May of 2022, he plans to use the skills he has learned at Neumann to his advantage and pursue a career in marketing or business development.

As Tyler reflects on his internship experience, he shares what he has learned and will take with him as he continues his education and career growth. “I have gained so much knowledge this summer! Neumann was a great place for me to gain experience in the field and I look forward to staying in touch with the mentors I have gained through this opportunity.”

The summer of 2020 went by so quickly! It seems like it was just yesterday that we were showing Tyler around the office. We were sad to see it come to an end but everyone here on the Neumann team wishes Tyler the best of luck in his future endeavors!
