Neumann Brothers is now accepting applications for our annual grant program. From our employee-led charitable initiative, the “Neumann Heart Fund,” we will award $20,000 in total to Central Iowa non-profits this coming October.

At Neumann Brothers, we believe that building strong communities goes hand in hand with building lasting structures. That’s why we’re proud to announce that applications are now open for the 2025 Neumann Heart Fund, our annual, employee-driven giving program supporting nonprofits across Central Iowa.

Each year, our employees lead the charge in identifying and supporting organizations making an impact in our community. By pooling together their voices, passions, and expertise, they direct funds to the causes that matter most—ensuring that the Heart Fund truly lives up to its name.

What is the Neumann Heart Fund?

The Heart Fund was created to strengthen Central Iowa by supporting nonprofits working on some of our region’s most pressing needs. Over the years, grants have gone to organizations focused on:

  • Military, Veterans and Frist Responders

  • Food, Poverty and Hunger

  • Housing and Homelessness

In 2025, Neumann Brothers will once again award $20,000 total in grants, divided among selected nonprofits chosen by our employees.

Who Can Apply?

The Heart Fund is open to all 501(c)(3) nonprofits located in Central Iowa. Whether your organization has applied before or is brand new to the Heart Fund process, we encourage you to apply and share how your mission is impacting the lives of Iowans.

How the Process Works

Applications are carefully reviewed by a committee of Neumann Brothers employees. This employee-led approach ensures that the organizations chosen are ones our team feels connected to and inspired by. Funding decisions are made collectively, with the goal of supporting a variety of missions that strengthen our community.
